This Web site is on account of all my friends telling me I should have one. I am a singer and I write songs and a do a fair bit of performing both with the company I’ve been working with for going on 17 years and by myself. I also sing an awful lot with my stepdaughter Chloe. That’s probably my greatest joy and my only real link with something fine. I mean that in the sense of the way I was brought up to sing and make music that was for and about a life of pure and simple pleasures. Music and singing being the best thing there is to share because so much is given in between the notes. I suppose I need a way to share the stuff I make with the rest of the world. I make songs, words and music. My job with the theater company has the description of composer and music director in residence. Fact is, I don’t really write music I make it. I make songs in my head and with this computer. I play guitar, banjo and fiddle. A lot of folks like what I make and that suits me. I’ve been at it for a long time. I used to fill legal pads and notebooks. Now I use this little ibook and I have gotten to like it real well.   Sincerely, Bob Lucas
