Trouble in the wind and trouble in the morning
Trouble everyday and trouble without warning
Trouble in the trees trouble in the ocean
Trouble when it’s calm and trouble in commotion

Doubts start to rising-trouble in your mind
Compromising-trouble in your mind
Short life of trouble is all you leave behind
A wrecking ball to rubble-trouble in your mind

Trouble in our love trouble in our yearning
Trouble when it’s cold and trouble when it’s burning
Trouble to ignore trouble when we heed it
Trouble everywhere trouble when we need it

Snakes are a crawling-trouble in your mind
Castles a falling-trouble in your mind
Short life of trouble is all you leave behind
No more lonesome trouble than trouble in your mind

Trouble gave us birth and trouble fed and clothed us
More Trouble than you’re worth when trouble come to scold us
Trouble took the time and trouble just to hold us
Trouble is the fine we pay for trouble sold us
